Launch of the Spotlight on Kenya

Development Initiatives (DI) is pleased to invite you to the upcoming online launch of our Spotlight on Kenya data tool.

The Spotlight on Kenya is for government agencies and ministries, advocacy and civil society organisations, international donors and others who are working to reduce poverty and promote sustainable development. It can be used to easily access, visualise and understand information about what is happening across a wide range of socioeconomic indicators as well as public spending. From national to county levels you can map data, see key statistics, and compare areas and indicators in detail.

The online launch will introduce the Spotlight’s new features, and bring together a group of experts to examine the state of Kenya’s data landscape, look at next steps towards improving the accessibility and usability of data, and bridge the gap between data users and producers. Finally, we will seek feedback from the audience on how to further develop the data tool.

The event will include an introduction by DI, a demonstration of the data tool, a panel discussion and an opportunity to ask questions.
