What I do: As a member of the Development Finance team, I help translate DI’s research and analysis work into policy proposals by considering how aid and more broadly, development finance, can be best used to reduce poverty and inequality.
Previous experience: Prior to joining DI, I was a Policy Analyst at the Center for Global Development where I worked on UK development policy; explored development finance from non-DAC providers; and probed aid providers’ response to rules governing how aid is measured. I have also worked as an economist for the Nigerian National Bureau of Statistics, helping to produce and disseminate economic data, and for the UK Office for National Statistics.
