The research and analysis team
The research and analysis team is dedicated to providing high-quality, data-led analysis to inform policy and decision-making for a range of actors who work in, or influence, development and humanitarian assistance. We transform the mass of data that exists on poverty, development finance and humanitarian aid into concise, accurate and actionable information that can help drive change for the poorest and most vulnerable people. We also have strong knowledge and awareness of the policy and political landscape in which our work sits and ensure everything we do is positioned in the best way to drive impact in that context.
We are a friendly, flexible and busy team. Many team members have developed specialist knowledge in particular fields and we work collaboratively to ensure that the varied talents within the team are combined to the best effect. We aim to foster an open, honest and mutually supportive environment in order to achieve the goals of the team and the wider organisation.
Our team consists of a Director of Research and Analysis, a Head of Research and Analysis, a Lead Analyst for East Africa, eight Senior Analysts, six Analysts and three Analyst Interns. Our role profiles give more detail about each member of the team and what we do. Meet the research and analysis team.
