What I do: As the Policy Development Lead, I lead DI's policy innovation and coherence, working with analysts and experts to identify the research questions and data resource needs that support our mission and partners' work. As an expert on disaster risk reduction, food security and climate and humanitarian policy, I also contribute to outputs like our Global Humanitarian Assistance Report.
Previous experience: Prior to joining DI, I spent two years working on the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), delivered programming and training in education and public health across five countries, and worked on Public Diplomacy for the US Diplomatic Mission in Burma (Myanmar). I am a returned United States Peace Corps volunteer with Master's degrees in Public Administration and Policy, and Science, Technology and Innovation Studies (STIS) with a focus on citizenship and science.
