What I do: I lead DI’s work on poverty and inequality.
Previous experience: I am a data scientist and analyst with expertise in humanitarian and development economics. I have more than seven years' experience designing and leading analysis for keystone reports and papers in development contexts for the purpose of information and advocacy. I have worked as an independent author and data expert for international organisations on the topics of climate change, humanitarian finance, and development finance. Prior to taking up the role of Poverty & Inequality Lead, I was a Senior Analyst leading DI's work within the Global Humanitarian Assistance team. I have also worked as a data consultant for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. I am a graduate of Economics from the University of Bath.
