We are looking for individuals with strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset and a track record of working in a personal or professional capacity on issues relating to social justice. Our vision, mission and ways of working underpin everything we do and so we are seeking those who feel passionately about the change we are trying to achieve through our work.
Experience working in international development would be a bonus, and we encourage applications from outside the UK, in particular from countries in Africa as we are also located in Kenya and Uganda. We are committed to diversity and aim to have a Board that is diverse in geography, race, age, gender and disability, as well as experience. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who offer skills in audit and financial management, risk management, fundraising, donor relations and political engagement.
We are further seeking a Board Chair to play a particularly important role in supporting our Executive Director to deliver our strategic objectives.
