Where I am based: Bristol, UK

What I do: I work across DI managing a number of different projects to ensure that they are implemented in the most effective and efficient way. I work from project initiation through to completion – monitoring both financial and human resources, reporting on progress against deliverables both internally and externally.

Previous experience: Since completing an MA in International Development I have had varied experiences of project management, from working on community projects in Peru and Bolivia to implementing advocacy campaigns with Oxfam. Each has introduced me to very different project management contexts. My role before starting at DI was with Temwa, an organisation working in northern Malawi. There I oversaw ten projects across five key programme areas, developed programme strategies, and monitoring and evaluation plans. I also oversaw the introduction of a new project management approach.
