Where I am based: Brazil
What I do: I lead DI’s work in Brazil, fostering fertile partnerships with national organisations concerned with poverty eradication, climate finance, South–South development cooperation and use of data. I engage with civil society organisations, public institutions and academia – both nationally and internationally – to scope new opportunities for DI and ensure its relevance in my areas of expertise.
I bring my experience of working for DI as an Analyst/Researcher and as a Senior Analyst on development finance, especially South–South development cooperations, increasing the availability and quality of information and data. I authored a number of publications on Brazilian and South–South development cooperation, transparency, development financing to nutrition, health and agriculture.
Previous experience: Before joining Development Initiatives, I worked in Italy, Bolivia and Brazil in the fields of sustainability, social development and citizen empowerment. I hold an MSc in Social Anthropology from London School of Economics and an MSc in Economics from Bocconi University. I’m fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and a native Italian speaker.
