Non Executive Director Kate provides advice, support and direction to Development Initiatives (DI) in her role as a Non Executive Director.

Kate has been a partner with Sayer Vincent a specialist firm of consultants and auditors for over 25 years. She is also a trainer facilitator, coach, advisor and consultant. Kate leads assignments to help charities to be more effective finding better ways to undertake risk management, manage support functions and plan. She also advises charities and social enterprises on a wide range of finance and tax issues such as trading and VAT. Kate is a Chartered Accountant with a Diploma in Charity Accounting awarded by the ICAEW and Cass Business School. She is also a visiting lecturer at Cass Business School for courses in charity finance.

Kate has written several popular books on charity finance including A Practical Guide to Charity Accounting, A Practical Guide to Financial Management for Charities and A Practical Guide to VAT for Charities.
