Diane Kingston OBE

Where I am based: Eastbourne, UK

What I do: I provide advice, support and direction to Development Initiatives in my role as Board Member.

Previous experience: I am Senior Advisor for Policy and Government Affairs at Frontline AIDS, the global HIV and AIDS charity.  I am also a member of the Department for International Development’s Independent Reference Group on tackling sexual exploitation and abuse and sexual harassment, member of Bond’s Steering Committee on the Sustainable Development Goals, and the Co-chair of Bond’s Leave No One Behind group. I have worked on social justice issues in international development and human rights throughout my career, in particular as the UK’s elected member of the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), Deputy Director of Advocacy and Alliances for CBM, Global Disability Advisor for Sightsavers, and as joint Country Director of VSO Indonesia.
