Conrad Zellmann

Lead, Data Use

Start date with DI: January 2015

Where I am based: Utrecht, the Netherlands

What I do: I oversee DI’s thematic work on increasing the use of data and information. My particular interests lie in helping stakeholders to make use of growing amounts of openly accessible government data for accountability, decision-making and for providing critical services that drive sustainable development. I am part of DI’s team of strategic partnership managers who lead on developing key in-country relationships.

Previous experience: I joined following my role of Deputy Executive Director of Towards Transparency, Transparency International’s contact group in Vietnam (2012–14). Before that, I held various positions at Transparency International’s Secretariat (2005–11), most recently heading the programme that supports TI’s chapters in providing free advice and support to whistleblowers and witnesses in more than 50 countries.
