Date: 17 April 2015, 8.30-10.30AM EDT
Venue: FHI 360 Conference Centre, Washington DC
Join us at the launch workshop for our new Development Data Hub. Launching live in beta, the Development Data Hub is the most comprehensive online resource for financial flow data alongside poverty, social and vulnerability indicators. It combines an extensive data store with interactive visualisations enabling you to chart and compare poverty and resource flow data at the global, national and local level.
This is an interactive workshop to take a take a first look at the data stories in this exciting new resource and explore the landscape of development finance. After a short presentation, the Development Initiatives team will facilitate a hands-on experience to allow you to explore the data. We will unbundle aid and official finance; explore domestic financing in our country profiles; and introduce you to the global view of poverty, vulnerability and financial flows.
This event is open to all, on a first-come first served basis. Please sign up here: http://development-data-hub-launch-april2015-dc.eventbrite.co.uk
