About: Development Initiatives (DI) is pleased to be participating in Kenya Equity Week, which runs 13-17 November 2017.
DI has been involved in the planning for Kenya Equity Week 2017, a national programme of events that presents an opportunity for reflection on equity in resource allocation in Kenya. The aim is to highlight and discuss ideas, policies and practices related to equitable governance, stimulating a national conversation on equitable development as envisioned in the 2010 Constitution. The week involves a series of events drawing participants from academia, civil society, government, the private sector and citizens.
DI will be launching the new Spotlight on Kenya, our latest online data visualisation, on Thursday 16 November. We will also showcase the Spotlight on Friday 17 November at the regional event in Tambach Teachers Training College, Iten town, Elgeyo Marakwet County, and participate in a panel discussion to present on data challenges for decision-making at county level.
Full details on the programme are available on the Kenya Equity Week website. For more information, please contact Henry Odhiambo on henry[dot]odhiambo[AT]devinit.org
