Development Initiatives contributes to the 2016 Global Nutrition Report, which shows a change in trajectory is needed to end malnutrition by 2030

The Global Nutrition Report, ‘From Promise to Impact: Ending Global Malnutrition by 2030’, was published this week and includes analysis by Development Initiatives.

This year’s report concludes that the world is not currently on track to reach targets on nutrition, but that this trend could be reversed to end to global malnutrition by 2030. The report focuses on the theme of making and measuring commitments to nutrition, and identifying what it will take to meet the 2030 target.

Development Initiatives’ co-founder and strategic advisor, Judith Randel, is a member of the independent group of experts who produced the report. We are proud to have also contributed through our analysis of financing for nutrition. Our analysis highlights the strong case for tracking financial resources and investments in nutrition. This enables a greater focus on results and a keener understanding of what additional investment is needed, and where.
