All of DI’s work is underpinned by data, evidence and analysis of the underlying cause of poverty. Who and where are the poorest and most vulnerable people? What keeps people in poverty? What prevents people from benefiting from growth?
Our Investments to End Poverty programme looks at the impact of financial resources on reducing poverty. It provides independent, reliable, accessible data and information on resource flows and promotes the idea that all resources have a role to play in getting poverty to zero.
Accessible, usable, timely and complete data is core to sustainable development and social progress. We work to help people, organisations and governments to get better access to information, especially on resource flows and how they can promote change.
